Bath Festival Orchestra in Bath Abbey
This event is free to watch but please consider donating to Bath Festivals, a registered charity. Your donation will support future festivals and creative learning projects with young people in the local community. Thank you.
The Bath Festival Orchestra is the newly launched resident chamber orchestra of The Bath Festival. Originally formed in 1959 by Yehudi Menuhin, the orchestra was the musical heart of The Bath Festival. Their performance will highlight the talent and energy of young musicians in their innovative new ways they approach classical music. It seems fitting that this rejuvenated orchestra is to perform in the newly restored Bath Abbey. Join us to hear the energetic interpreters for the audiences of today and tomorrow.
